Fire Stopping Installation

Buildings are designed in fire compartments — sealed zones that contain fire and smoke long enough for people to escape and firefighters to respond.

Every pipe, cable tray, duct or service that passes through a compartment wall or floor creates a breach in that protection. Our certified fire stopping installations seal these penetrations using tested and approved materials, restoring the building's compartmentation to its designed standard.

What we do

• Survey and identification of unsealed or failed penetrations.
• Installation of certified fire stopping systems — fire batt, intumescent sealants, collars, wraps and pillows.
• Sealing of linear gaps and movement joints.
• Full photographic record and location plan of every seal installed, for your fire safety file.
